The Office of Undergraduate Research and Inquiry (OURI) serves as a centralized support office for students and faculty who are engaged in undergraduate research and inquiry. They offer university-wide programs such as undergraduate research grants, the annual undergraduate research symposium, and the undergraduate research journal, a university-wide Undergraduate Research Certificate, and a Peer Mentor program. Peer Mentors

The Peer Mentoring Program is designed to provide support to undergraduate students who are interested in pursuing research and inquiry. Our peer mentors are wonderful undergraduate and graduate students who represent active researchers and role models from FAU's colleges and partner campuses.     • Honoring Outstanding Owl Teachers (HOOT), the Department of Special Education Honors-in-the-major. Contact Dr. Darling to learn more.
  • Research Intensive courses
  • Undergraduate Research Certificate. The Undergraduate Research Certificate is a 12-credit certificate program to recognize undergraduate students for development of excellence in undergraduate research. Learn more about the RI Certificate here.
  • College of Education Student Advisory Council (SAC) Research Symposium. The COE-SAC hosts an annual research symposium to disseminate research conducted by undergraduate and graduate students in the college. Learn more here.
